The Subaru Outback was already incredibly well equipped for adventure — and now it’s getting even better. For 2023, this widely beloved SUV wagon has been ungraded with an impressive list of features and design changes you’re sure to love.

On the outside, every 2023 Outback trim except for the Wilderness (which is already plenty bold) gets a strikingly rugged new front-end design with changes for the fascia, grille, LED headlights and fog lights, and front bumper cover. Meanwhile, the wheel arches boast a tougher look with expanded protective cladding.

To help you as you drive, the Outback’s EyeSight® Driver Assist Technology suite has been improved for the new model year. Updated software and an electric brake booster help this integrated system of safety features respond faster than ever to danger on the road. And on certain models, a new Automatic Emergency Steering feature integrates with the Pre-Collision Braking System to help prevent crashes.

The Outback’s available STARLINK 11.6-inch Multimedia Plus system has been upgraded for 2023 as well, boasting wireless Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay®, a new Valet Mode feature, and much more.

In other changes, the Outback’s Onyx Edition trim is now available with a more efficient 2.5-liter SUBARU BOXER engine in addition to the more powerful 2.4-liter option that was offered for the previous model year. And at the top of the lineup, the Touring trim gets a new Wide-Angle Mono Camera with a broader field of vision that more effectively detects pedestrians and bicyclists.

The new 2023 Outback will be available soon, and you can learn more about it by contacting our team here at Gallatin Subaru in Bozeman, Montana.

6 Subaru Vehicles Win IIHS Top Safety Pick Honors for 2022

6 Subaru Vehicles Win IIHS Top Safety Pick | Bozeman, MT

Once again, Subaru is piling up annual safety awards from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. For 2022, six Subaru vehicles have been designated as a TOP SAFETY PICK+ or TOP SAFETY PICK. That brings Subaru’s total number of IIHS honors to 61 since 2013 — more than any other brand.

The Subaru Ascent, Outback, Crosstrek Hybrid, and Legacy were all designated as TOP SAFETY PICK+ models. Crosstrek and Impreza models with EyeSight® safety features and certain headlights took home TOP SAFETY PICK honors.

“We are thrilled to receive six IIHS awards for our 2022 model lineup,” said Thomas J. Doll, Subaru of America’s president and CEO. “Our top priority is to provide customers with vehicles made to the highest standards in safety.”

TSP and TSP+ vehicles are required to earn “Good” ratings in six stringent IIHS crash tests. They must also offer available front-crash prevention systems that provide “Advanced” or “Superior” protection. TSP models have to offer available “Good” or “Acceptable” headlights, while TSP+ models must provide them standard on every trim.

Here at Gallatin Subaru in Bozeman, Montana, we’re proud to sell all of these award-winning vehicles. To learn more about Subaru’s industry-leading safety features and our outstanding lineup of cars and SUVs, you’re invited to stop in for a visit.
