Subaru Enters 7th Year of Cancer-Fighting Partnership

Subaru Enters 7th Year of Cancer-Fighting Partnership | Gallatin Motors | Bozeman, MT

For the seventh year in a row, Subaru teamed up with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society® to bring hope and care to patients fighting blood cancer.

As part of June’s Subaru Loves to Care month, the automaker and 616 of its retailers partnered with LLS to deliver blankets, arts and crafts kits, and encouraging notes and cards to people with leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloma. Subaru also gave a 100% match for to $250,000 in online donations to LLS — dollars that will fund medical research, patient advocacy, and other efforts to combat blood cancer.

“At Subaru, we believe all people should have the opportunity to live comfortable and healthy lives, and with our retailers we’re committed to spreading hope to blood cancer patients who are courageously living with cancer,” said Alan Bethke, Subaru of America’s senior vice president of marketing. “We hope our donations and messages offer warmth and hope to these brave patients and their families.”

Here at Gallatin Subaru, we’re proud to participate in Subaru Loves to Care with our support for local organizations like Cancer Support Community Montana. Subaru Share the Love® Brings in $24.9 Million for Charity

2021 Subaru Crosstek | Bozeman,MT

The annual Subaru Share the Love® Event is a huge part of the automaker’s commitment to helping local communities like Bozeman, Montana. This past year’s event was a smashing success, bringing in $24.9 million for charities that do vital work across the United States.

Each year, Subaru Share the Love® raises money for charity in two major ways. First, whenever a new Subaru vehicle is sold or leased, Subaru of America donates $250 to a charity chosen by the customer. Meanwhile, individual retailers can also contribute a donation for each vehicle they sell.

Of the $24.9 million raised, close to $7.5 million went to Subaru national charity partners like the National Park Foundation, Meals on Wheels America, the ASPCA®, and Make-A-Wish®. Another $17.5 million went to nearly 800 local charities around the country.

“Each year, we are humbled by how the Subaru community shows love and care for those in need,” said Thomas J. Doll, Subaru of America’s president and CEO. “We thank our retailers and customers for making this event an incredible success and for helping us donate more than $227 million since 2008 to charities that matter to our community.”
